This is the catalogue of the exhibition Katsumi Komagata held at the Itabashi Art Museum from November 2019 (since then, it has traveled throughout Japan & Paris).
It presents about 300 prints, graphic designs, picture books, workshops in Japan and abroad, prototypes and idea sketches from over 40 years of activity.

From “small designs” that fit in the hand, such as invitations and picture books, to works created through small, close relationships between the creator, client, and recipient, the contents of this exhibition remind us of the importance of "being small.
